Wax medium is a mixture of oil and beeswax. Mix with oil to achieve a translucent effect that dries to a satin finish. Art Spectrum Wax Medium is versatile, stable, and resistant to insects, bacteria and mould.  
 
	
Not suitable for heavy impasto.
	
It is recommended you do not add more than 20% wax medium to your paint as this can soften the paint film.
	
Do not expose paintings using a wax medium to extreme cold.
