Progresso Pencils are made up of a solid 7.1mm stick of graphite with a thin outer layer of lacquer to facilitate handling. Made from the purest hardtmuth graphite, they can be sharpened like any normal wood cased pencil.
 
The Progresso 4B Aquarell is a water soluble graphite pencil, suitable for artistic drawing and sketching, using both wet and dry techniques.
